Vyne Medical Responds to HIMSS’ Cancellation of the 2020 Global Health Conference & Exhibition

HIMSS Conference Cancellation

DUNWOODY, Ga. (March 5, 2020) – Vyne Medical joins thousands of others in healthcare now cancelling plans to travel to Orlando next week for the HIMSS 2020 Global Health Conference. Following recent reports from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) related to the coronavirus, HIMSS announced today that it will cancel the conference for the first time in 58 years.

Vyne Medical stands with HIMSS in its commitment to “protect the health and safety of the global HIMSS community, employees and local residents, as well as for the healthcare providers tasked with keeping our U.S. and global communities healthy.”

HIMSS made the decision in coordination with an external advisory panel of medical professionals, which determined that holding the conference presented an unacceptable risk, especially considering the consequences of potentially displacing healthcare workers during a critical time.

While disappointed to miss the chance to connect in person, representatives from Vyne Medical would welcome the opportunity to connect virtually to discuss your 2020 priorities and how Vyne Medical can help. If you are interested in arranging a time to connect, contact us to schedule a call with one of our Vyne Medical healthcare solution experts today.
