Employees participate in tree planting events at Vyne offices and in communities across the U.S.

ATLANTA – Oct. 21, 2021 – Vyne, a recognized leader in end-to-end health information exchange and electronic healthcare communication management, hosted earlier today a company-wide “Growing Vyne Day.” The event took place across more than 20 states with in-person tree plantings in Indianapolis, Knoxville, Atlanta, and Kansas City and virtual events for remote employees in cities across the country.

More than 100 employees participated in the event as part of the company’s drive to support global change and sustainability. In addition to donating time and resources to plant trees, the company’s medical, dental, and insurance payer businesses provide technology platforms that enable clients to reduce paper and consumption of other natural resources.

By digitizing the capture, storage and submission of patient data, Vyne’s technology saves more than 170 million sheets of paper each year. Vyne Medical customers save approximately 90 million pieces of paper annually using digital fax technology, and Vyne Dental customers save more than 80 million pieces of paper each year through electronic claims processing and patient correspondence. Combined, these 170 million sheets equate to more than 11,000 trees that are saved from harvesting.

Vyne partnered with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation, for “Growing Vyne Day” events in Indianapolis and Atlanta and for delivery of virtual event tree kits to remote employees. For each tree kit purchased by Vyne, One Tree Planted contributed an additional tree for planting in a suitable habitat – nearly doubling the number of trees planted across the country.
