HIMSS20: Be the Change—Get Connected!

Come by booth #2085 to learn how Vyne Medical can help connect your organization to healthcare’s complex ecosystem.

The healthcare industry is a dynamic ecosystem made up of payers, providers, patients, staff, technology and data—lots of data. Like any ecosystem, in order to survive and evolve, it’s critical for its entities to be connected for optimal financial performance, physician and staff alignment, patient experience, compliance, patient safety and quality. Integration and interoperability are the keys to seamlessly and efficiently sharing data throughout the healthcare ecosystem.

Vyne Medical®—a recognized industry leader in compliant health information exchange and electronic healthcare communication management—is changing how the healthcare ecosystem captures, stores, and exchanges data in any form– voice, fax, or image. Our Trace® solution helps by connecting disconnected data® to close gaps in documentation and improve the continuum of care through a more complete and accessible patient record.

Vyne Medical is dedicated to giving back. For every connection made at our booth during the conference, we will donate $1 to the Australian Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service (WIRES) organization as they work to rebuild their ecosystem in the wake of the devastating bushfires and drought that have claimed the lives of more than a billion Australian animals. Stop by booth #2085 to learn more and to be a part of the change!

Developing a Quality Review Process (Session ID: RCSS14)

Presented by: Lynn Ansley and Rebecca Ashe, Moffitt Cancer Center

Date/Time: Monday, March 9th 2:35-3:00pm (Rosen Centre Junior Ballroom F)

Description: Variation in revenue cycle quality leads to issues with denials, delays and increased costs. Methods are needed to ensure consistency so that efficient and effective billing can occur. Moffitt Cancer Center launched a quality department to conduct consistent, unbiased quality assurance in the revenue cycle. Quality auditors oversee training and system support for the revenue cycle’s five key departments and 700+ team members. The review process provides a controlled base to reinforce efficiency, accuracy and accountability across teams. By catching and correcting errors before they move downstream, Moffitt can send claims out cleaner, reduce denials and bring in more cash.
